In a recent update, Mozilla has officially added pull-to-refresh support to the stable Android version of its popular Firefox web browser. This new feature has been a long time coming, as it has been available in the Nightly test version of the mobile web browser since 2020.

The addition of pull-to-refresh in version 112.0 of Firefox for Android allows users to easily refresh a web page by simply swiping down from the top of the screen. This optional feature can be disabled in the settings under 'Customize' if users prefer not to use it.

While this feature is new to Firefox for Android, it has been a staple in other mobile web browsers for years, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Apple's Safari browser. The introduction of pull-to-refresh in Firefox Nightly in 2020 was a step towards enhancing the browsing experience for users. The feature was later implemented in the Firefox beta for Android in February. The iOS version of Firefox has already had support for this feature for some time.

Along with the addition of pull-to-refresh, Firefox 112 for Android also includes the option for users to receive a notification every time they try to open a link that would redirect them to another app. Additionally, the update comes with several bug fixes, including resolving issues that were preventing 10bit videos from playing properly.
