Introducing the Huawei Watch FIT 3: A Lighter, Thinner, and More Advanced Smartwatch than its Predecessor

Huawei has unveiled the Watch FIT 3 as the next iteration of the Watch FIT 2. This latest version boasts a slightly larger screen in a similar rectangular design. Huawei emphasizes that they have made improvements to the software. The Watch FIT 3 is set for release in May in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The Huawei Watch FIT 3 features a 1.82" AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480x408 pixels. In comparison, the FIT 2 sported a 1.74" screen with a resolution of 480x336 pixels. According to Huawei, the FIT 3's screen measures 35.1x29.9mm and boasts a pixel density of 347ppi. With a thickness of 9.9mm and weighing 26 grams, the Watch FIT 3 is claimed to be the lightest and thinnest smartwatch in the Watch FIT lineup by Huawei. The smartwatch is equipped with a 400mAh battery delivering up to 10 days of battery life. It also features GPS and Galileo support, along with an acceleration and gravity sensor, although it lacks a barometer, body temperature sensor, or heart rhythm sensor. Additionally, the smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.2.

Huawei has enhanced the Stay Fit app, expanding the food database to cover more countries and regions, and introducing a new nutritional analysis function. The Smart Sports feature has been added to recommend exercises based on user habits and weather conditions. The Watch FIT 3 is touted to have an improved sleep scoring system and enhanced blood oxygen level measurement capability. Pre-orders for the Watch FIT 3 are now open in the Netherlands, with availability in Belgium starting from May 22.
