In a blog post, Microsoft announced that they are currently testing a preview of this app in build 26080 of Windows 11 24H2 within the Canary and Dev Channels. The experimental build features a unified Teams application that enables users to link multiple accounts and effortlessly switch between them.
Whether it's personal or work-related accounts, Microsoft acknowledged the feedback from users who expressed their desire for a single Teams app that can accommodate both account types. Users can conveniently switch between accounts using a drop-down menu or even during a conversation. Additionally, users have the option to initiate conversations within the app without requiring an account.
