The latest HMD smartphone to be released under its own brand name is called Pulse and is set to hit the Indian market soon, as reported by MySmartPrice. The website has also unveiled new renders of the device, revealing that Pulse is a budget-friendly phone.

According to MySmartPrice, the phone will feature a 13-megapixel camera and a powerful 5000mAh battery, in collaboration with OnLeaks. The launch of HMD Pulse in India, a key market for affordable smartphones, is eagerly anticipated. HMD has been utilizing the Nokia brand name since 2016, but with the expiration of the license, the Finnish manufacturer is keen on establishing its own identity.

An earlier render of the smartphone was unveiled with the model number N159V. It remains uncertain whether the HMD Pulse will make its way to Europe and when more smartphones will be introduced under the company's brand. This year, there has been no release of new Nokia-branded smartphones in the Benelux region.
