BUNNELL FL - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating information circulating on TikTok claiming April 24th as "National Rape Day" or "National Sexual Assault Day." Sheriff Rick Staly emphasized that sexual assault is a serious crime and will not be tolerated. The Sheriff's Office is dedicated to investigating all claims and holding perpetrators accountable.

Residents and visitors are urged to call 9-1-1 in case of emergency or the non-emergency line 386-313-4911 to report any suspicious activity. While TikTok stated they have not found evidence of related videos on their platform, they are monitoring the situation closely.
