At the upcoming CES trade show in Las Vegas, Cooler Master is set to make a splash with the introduction of a groundbreaking new product: a fully passively cooled power supply boasting an impressive 1100W of power. This move effectively positions Cooler Master as the first manufacturer to exceed the 1000W threshold for passively cooled power supplies, marking a significant milestone in the industry.

Traditionally, the maximum power output for passively cooled power supplies has been capped at 700W. To achieve effective cooling for a power supply of this magnitude without the need for a fan, Cooler Master has ingeniously designed the unit to utilize its housing as a massive aluminum heatsink, complete with a copper baseplate and four heat pipes for optimal heat dissipation. In addition to the flagship 1100W model, Cooler Master will also be launching a more budget-friendly 850W variant to cater to a wider range of consumers.

Not content to rest on their laurels, Cooler Master is also set to unveil the X Mighty Platinum at CES - an 80Plus Platinum power supply boasting an unprecedented power output of 2000W and two 12Vhpwr cables. This powerhouse of a unit will feature digital readouts for monitoring performance, although unlike its counterpart - the X Silent Edge Platinum - it will incorporate a semi-passively controlled fan for enhanced cooling capabilities. One standout feature of the X Mighty Platinum is its industry-leading fifteen-year warranty, underscoring Cooler Master's commitment to quality and reliability.

Furthermore, attendees at CES can expect to see the debut of the digitally readout X Silent Max Platinum 1300W power supply from Cooler Master, along with the launch of the new V Platinum V2 series. This new lineup will include power supplies ranging from 1100W to 1600W, equipped with Mobius fans for improved airflow and cooling performance. The top-tier model in this series will even come with a second 12Vhpwr connector, ideal for enthusiasts looking to power multiple high-performance video cards. To instill confidence in their products, Cooler Master is offering a generous twelve-year warranty with the V Platinum V2 series, ensuring peace of mind for consumers.

Rounding out their impressive showcase at CES, Cooler Master will be introducing white variants of some of their popular existing series, including the GX III Gold, V SFX Platinum, and V SFX Gold ATX 3.0. These aesthetically pleasing units will offer the same reliable performance and efficiency that Cooler Master is renowned for, with specific details regarding availability and pricing set to be announced at the event.
